Sheffield Hallam University initially approached us for help developing a set of peg boards to be installed in the Hertha Ayrton STEM Center.
This soon became a project involving the manufacture of 28 peg boards; that’s over 15,000 holes! Without the speed, consistency and precision of our in-house CNC machine, this job would have been practically impossible.
The boards themselves, which are made from white laminated 30mm birch plywood, are used as a modular gallery space, where artwork can be quickly rearranged and whole exhibitions can be changed over with ease.
